“Before working with Shawna I thought I would be given a meal plan that I would follow for a little while and then fall off and be right back where I started because that’s how it has always been. But that is nothing like what you do with Shawna and what she teaches you. Shawna has taught me how to eat slower and more mindfully. I’m a teacher and mom to littles but this is something I can do. She has taught me to realize the importance and benefits of getting to bed at a good time because I make better decisions when I’m rested. I’m a night owl so I never thought that would happen! She has taught me to listen to my body and to consider what I need not what I “think” I need. I am an emotional eater and I have learned, that eating does not solve my problems.
